Oscar Villalonga

President and Chief Executive Officer

Oscar Villalonga is President and Chief Executive Officer of Coface’s North America Region. Based in Princeton, New Jersey, Mr. Villalonga is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of Coface’s business lines in the United States and Canada, including trade credit insurance and business information services.  He reports directly to Xavier Durand, Coface’s Chief Executive Officer, and is a member of the Coface Executive Committee.
 
Prior to joining Coface, Oscar spent more than 20 years in senior leadership positions in the financial services industry. He spent most of his career in GE Capital, which he joined in 1996, attaining the role of President & COO for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. In 2005, he moved to GE Capital’s headquarters in the Norwalk, Connecticut as Managing Director of the Enterprise Client Group and then became Managing Director of Strategic Pricing & Capital Allocation for the Americas in 2009. In 2010, Oscar was appointed Commercial Leader and Senior Managing Director for Corporate Finance, and more recently led the project financing platform for GE’s Distributed Energy Resources projects.
 
Oscar brings to Coface a deep business acumen, including strong organizational skills, combined with a proven ability to lead teams and complex business initiatives. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico. Oscar is a member of the Latinx Executive Alliance advisory board which aims to elevate Latinx talent in corporate America.

Paul Haigley

Senior Vice President, Commercial Underwriting

Paul Haigley is Senior Vice President, Commercial Underwriting. Paul joined the Coface North America team in 2019 and leads the region's Commercial Underwriting organization. Under his leadership, the Commercial Underwriting organization provides business and broker support and consultation on trade credit insurance and underwriting to help businesses understand risk and seize growth opportunities within the market. Paul brings more than 30 years of experience to the North America region, including leadership roles as AXA, Euler Hermes and other credit insurance companies.

Mark Jomaa

Mark Jomaa is Country Manager and Chief Commercial Agent for Coface Canada. Joining the Coface team in 2014, Mark has over 20 years of international trade credit insurance, risk management, and international trade experience. In addition to leading Coface Canada, he also serves on several industry boards, including the Receivables Insurance Association of Canada.

Alexandre Lacreu is the Chief Underwriting Officer for Coface North America. Leading Risk Underwriting in both the U.S. and Canada markets, Alexandre oversees underwriting to help companies of all sizes understand risk and seize growth opportunities. Alexandre joined Coface in 2017 and moved to support the North America region in 2021.

Gerardo Ronconi is Chief Financial Officer for Coface North America. Gerardo brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance market covering credit, bonding, life, and pension business. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Gerardo holds a master's in Accounting and Auditing from the Universidad del Salvador and undergraduate degree from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba.

Gaoussou Sakho is Audit Director for Coface North America. Prior to join Coface, Gaoussou spent more than 15 years in several positions in the banking industry. He spent most of his career in Natixis, which he joined in 2009.
 
He holds a Master’s degree specializing in Audit and Management Control from Inseec Business School in Paris.

Jenine Spadafino is Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Coface North America. Jenine's career spans over 25 years of experience with large global companies mainly within the financial sector. Starting her career at JP Morgan Chase and rising through the ranks at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and UBS. In her most recent role Jenine served as the Head of Global Human Resources for New York based Humanscale Corporation. Jenine’s background and leadership experience fit well with the needs of our evolving organization and her track record and focus on business partnerships, organizational structuring, talent & pipeline development, internal mobility expansion, career pathing and external recruiting will serve well the needs of Coface employees and our growing and dynamic business.
 
Jenine is a graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Lee Spurrier is the Chief Commercial Officer for Coface North America. Lee leads the commercial sales operation for Coface in both the U.S. and Canada markets with expert teams providing trade credit insurance and other solutions to help protect and grow businesses.
