Coface North America Insurance Company has advised its business units to take immediate steps to comply with the Illinois Department of Insurance Bulletin 2017-03 which was issued in response to significant flooding. These units have been instructed to implement a moratorium on cancellations and non-renewals for affected policyholders and allow extensions on policy provisions and reporting requirements for impacted insureds. The Illinois Department of Insurance is available to handle complaints regarding any disaster-related dispute or issue.
